12 November 2021 Chief and PCC online to discuss policing THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TUNED IN TO ASK A QUESTION. ALL THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ARE AVAILABLE HERE Members of the public have an opportunity to quiz Suffolk’s Chief Constable and Police and Crime Commissioner during an online discussion next week. The two-hour chat will be hosted on Suffolk Constabulary’s website on Monday (8 November) between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. Residents will be able to talk to Steve Jupp and Tim Passmore about any crime issues they have and question them about policing in the county. Police and Crime Commissioner Tim Passmore said: “Having direct contact with the public is vital and helps me to represent the views of all the communities in Suffolk. I invite everyone to join in on Monday evening so we can answer their questions and gauge public opinions on a range of issues.” Chief Constable Steve Jupp said: “I look forward to talking to residents about the policing issues that affect them. Anyone who wants to express their concerns and tell us, and everyone taking part, what they think will be most welcome. We have not been able to hold our usual public meetings, so we hope this live web chat will give people a chance to engage with us directly and raise any issues they have.” The session between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Monday 8 November will be hosted on the Suffolk Constabulary website www.suffolk.police.uk
