Tim Passmore has served as Suffolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner since 2012, earning re-election in 2016, 2021, and 2025. Born in Felixstowe and raised near Ipswich, Tim combines local knowledge with global experience.
With a degree in Agriculture and an MBA, Tim spent over 30 years as an agricultural consultant, advising businesses across Europe, North America, and Asia. He is passionate about Suffolk’s economy - especially tourism and the county’s outstanding food and drink sector.
Before becoming PCC, Tim led Mid Suffolk District Council. Away from work, he’s a keen Rugby Union referee, officiating matches across East Anglia and beyond.
