The Police and Crime Commissioner helps make Suffolk safer by funding important services. Every year, the PCC spends £1.6million on tackling domestic abuse and sexual violence, including support for people through the Independent Domestic Violence Advisory service. The PCC also gives grants to local groups working to reduce crime and keep communities safe. There’s also a special £300,000 fund that supports charities and projects that help deliver the Police and Crime Plan.
