The Elected Local Policing Bodies (Specified Information) (Amendment) Order 2021 was implemented in May 2021. This Order provides that information relating to a police force’s performance against the Government’s published national priorities for policing, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) performance reports on the force, and complaint handling must be published.
The wording within the order is stated in blue with additional information provided where appropriate.
(a) a statement on the contribution of the police force maintained by the elected local policing body to achieving improvements against those priorities;

At present the performance against the key national policing priorities is not yet available as we are awaiting national publication but it will be published as soon as it is received.
(b) an explanation of which of the national priorities are assessed to be applicable and which not applicable in the context of the relevant police area and the reasons for that assessment.
