Statement of Accounts approved

Following consideration by the Audit Committee on Friday 27 November 2020 and completion of the external audit, the Police and Crime Commissioner has approved his Statement of Accounts 2019-20 and the Annual Governance Statement 2020.

Update on the External Audit of the 2019/20 Statement of Accounts

The external audit of the draft statement of accounts for the year ended 31 March 2020 has not yet been completed by our external auditors, EY LLP, due to an outstanding matter in relation to the Police Pension Scheme IAS19 valuations.
