Organisations offered opportunity to help victims of crime

From today (8 July), Suffolk PCC Tim Passmore and Norfolk PCC Lorne Green are encouraging bids to provide a victim assessment, support and referral service across both counties.

PCC announces new Youth Intervention Fund in partnership with Suffolk Community Foundation

Suffolk’s Youth Intervention Fund, launched this week, was founded by an initial match fund pledge of £50K from Suffolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner Tim Passmore. With the support of Suffolk Community Foundation, a further £100,000 has been raised so far from private individuals and business donations meaning that the fund itself has been launched with a total of £150,000 of support on offer to local charities. Applications can be made for funding of between £2,500 and £20,000 per application to organisations delivering services to support young people.
