The Police and Crime Commissioner received the Independent Advisory Group’s Annual Report 2014-2015 (PDF, 272KB) at the Accountability and Performance Panel on Tuesday 16 June 2015 and was pleased to note the activities of the Group during 2014-15.

The Independent Advisory Group (IAG) is made up of volunteers who provide the police with independent advice on a range of issues, including critical incidents and developing plans and policies which help shape the way Suffolk is policed.  The Independent Advisory Group Information Leaflet (PDF, 744KB) provides more information on the role.  Please note that all appointments are subject to Police vetting checks and you must have been resident in the UK for more than three years.

We’re looking for more people to join the Group so if you wish to apply please complete and return the Application Form and Monitoring Questionnaire.
