COMMUNICATION OFFICER

OFFICE OF THE POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER

SALARY £32,000

Are you interested in progressing a career in Communications and Engagement? Do you want to make a difference in your community? We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player who wants to develop their skills to join our team.

Successful applicants will have a good eye for detail, excellent organisational and written skills and the ability to make decisions. Existing experience with websites and social media would be a benefit.

They will work closely with the Head of Communications and Engagement to support the Police and Crime Commissioners’ engagement with the public including, managing his correspondence and online activity, including his website and social media.

They will also work closely with the wider team providing general administrative support and ensuring our office runs efficiently. As a member of a small but committed team the successful applicant will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities supporting the team and make a real difference to the communities we serve.
