Vacancy for Support Officer

Based at MARTLESHAM

Salary: £24,270

Applications are invited for the above full time post in the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. The Commissioner is accountable to the electorate of Suffolk for ensuring that policing services provided by the Suffolk Constabulary are efficient and effective.

This vacancy presents an exciting opportunity to work in a busy high profile public office.

The successful applicant will provide administrative, secretarial and typing support to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and will support the delivery of his commissioning responsibilities for victims and crime and disorder reduction.

Applicants should have excellent keyboard skills with experience of providing a proficient word processing service using Microsoft software packages and be able to demonstrate an ability to make decisions, be analytical and innovative in providing solutions to requirements.

The Commissioner is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with a proven track record in a similar role in an executive level office environment.
