The election of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Suffolk will take place on Thursday 2 May 2024.

A familiarisation session for prospective candidates and agents will be delivered by the Chief Constable and acting Chief Executive of the Office of the PCC on Thursday 11 April 2024 at 1.30pm. Please contact katherine.boswell@suffolk.police.uk to confirm your attendance.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE ELECTION PROCESS
Ian Gallin, the Chief Executive of West Suffolk Council, has been appointed as the Suffolk Police Area Returning Officer (PARO) for the PCC election on Thursday, 2 May 2024. He will have overall responsibility for co-ordinating and running the election across the whole of the county, although local Returning Officers at District/Borough level will have responsibility for overseeing arrangements in their areas.
