LEGAL CLERK – MARTLESHAM (HR Reference L1201)

Salary: up to £35,000 (full time rate)

Applications are invited for the above part time post (0.4 fte) in the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. The Commissioner owns most police assets in Suffolk and is responsible for the acquisition and disposal of land.

This vacancy presents an opportunity to provide a legal service to the Commissioner and Chief Constable in respect of the Commissioner’s land assets as well as contributing generally to the delivery of the functions of the Office of the Commissioner.

The successful applicant will advise the Commissioner and Chief Constable on all legal aspects relating to the Commissioner’s land as well as conducting all legal transactions in relation to that property.

Applicants should have extensive experience of dealing with freehold and leasehold conveyancing.

The Commissioner is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with a proven track record in a similar role in an executive level office environment.
