19 August 2024 Vacancy – Head of Policy & Performance HEAD OF POLICY & PERFORMANCE OFFICE OF THE POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER SALARY £55,461 An exciting opportunity to play a senior role in police governance and setting strategic objectives for policing has arisen in the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner in Suffolk The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner has a key role in governance and oversight of policing to ensure an efficient and effective police force in Suffolk. The office works with partners to improve Criminal Justice and Community Safety outcomes alongside the PCC’s statutory powers to commission services for victims of crime and utilise grant funding to reduce crime and disorder in Suffolk. You will have a track record in working in partnership, a collaborative approach, a background in policy and monitoring performance of strategic plans, and it would be desirable to have experience of working in a governance role and with elected members/officials. You will work with partners (across the private, voluntary and public sectors) in Suffolk to support the influence, impact and contribution of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
