Public engagement – fire and police shared premises

Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner Tim Passmore joined members of the community, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and Suffolk Constabulary at the public engagement drop-in events held on Thursday 19 May at Felixstowe Fire Station and Friday 20 May at Saxmundham Fire Station.  Proposals are being made to extend and improve the existing fire station premises to accommodate police officers and staff, along with the existing fire crew.  If approved the work is expected to commence in Autumn 2016 and be completed for March 2017.  Any comments regarding the proposals should be sent to Fire.BusinessSupport@suffolk.gov.uk quoting either ‘Felixstowe consultation’ or ‘Saxmundham Consultation’.
