PCC discusses policing issues with minerals association

Tim spoke to the regional meeting of the Mineral Products Association at their recent meeting in Newmarket.

The association is the public voice of the quarrying and related industries with strong activity in Suffolk and East Anglia as a whole.

The East Anglia region holds meetings throughout the year for its members  with invited speakers covering a mix of topics that are relevant to the industry. Tim spoke on the broad topic of policing and took questions on the major issues that affects the industry.

Metal, equipment & fuel theft, trespass and the safety of cyclists around their trucks were highlighted as the key issues.
