4 July 2016 Independent Advisory Group Annual General Meeting The Suffolk Independent Advisory Group (IAG) will be holding its Annual General Meeting at Suffolk Police Headquarters on Monday, 18 July at 6.30 pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend. The IAG is made up of volunteers drawn from local communities across Suffolk. The role of the group is to give independent advice on a range of issues – including developing plans and policies which help shape the way the county is policed in the future. The Group also advises on the community impact of critical and major incidents. The Police and Crime Commissioner and Constabulary are committed to delivering the highest quality police service to the people of Suffolk. The advice that they receive from the IAG will ensure that the needs of the community are taken into account in the delivery of a fair and equitable service. The AGM will elect the Chair and Vice Chairs of the IAG and review the IAG activity of the previous 12 months. There will also be updates on Stop and Search, the development of the Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies’ websites and positive action in terms of police recruitment. The meeting will take place in the Strategic Co-ordination Centre at Police Headquarters, Portal Avenue, Martlesham. There will be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions at the end of the meeting. Agenda (PDF, 75KB) IAG Annual Report 2015-2016 (PDF, 474KB)
