Home Office contract to support Victims & Survivors of Sexual Abuse

In addition to funds allocated to Police and Crime Commissioners for victim services for 2016-17, the Home Office has launched a £600k fund open to voluntary organisations.

This year, £4.7m has already been provided proportionally to all Police and Crime Commissioners, to administer to local provision for victim support. £600k has been withheld specifically to allow for voluntary organisations that work with victims and survivors across a wider geographic area to submit a proposal for this purpose. All bids must be for one year only, and bidders must be able to demonstrate the ability to spend their entire potential award by the end of the 2016-17 financial year.
