PCC ELECTION 2021

The election of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Suffolk will take place on Thursday 6 May 2021.

This area of our website contains detail of the forthcoming election and information which may be useful to prospective candidates.  This page will be updated with relevant information as it becomes available.

A familiarisation session for prospective candidates was delivered by the Chief Constable, Steve Jupp and Christopher Jackson, Chief Executive of the Office of the PCC on Monday 22 March 2021. INFORMATION ABOUT THE ELECTION PROCESS

Stephen Baker, the Chief Executive of East Suffolk Council, has once again been appointed as the Suffolk Police Area Returning Officer (PARO) for the PCC election on Thursday, 6 May 2021. He will have overall responsibility for co-ordinating and running the election across the whole of the county, although local Returning Officers at District/Borough level will have responsibility for overseeing arrangements in their areas.
