PCCs meet to discuss collaboration

Norfolk and Suffolk PCCs met informally for the first time this week (Monday 28 January) as the start of a regular series of meetings to review the progress Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies have made with their collaboration programme.

Chief Constables Simon Ash from Suffolk and Phil Gormley from Norfolk were at the meeting to provide an overview of the achievements to date.

Both PCCs were pleased with all that had been done, acknowledging the hard work, flexibility and adaptability of their respective workforces in reaching these goals.

It was also agreed at the meeting that additional work would be undertaken to consider the response to any further challenge presented by potential future government spending reviews.
