Audit Committee members needed

Appointments are being made to the joint Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable’s Audit Committee. The Committee ensures the adequacy of financial processes, risk management and reporting arrangements.

We are seeking applications from people who can demonstrate:

  • Senior level experience of scrutinising financial information and processes
  • Understanding of public sector finances
  • Knowledge of best practice in audit and corporate governance
  • Understanding risk control

The Committee meets around four times per year at Police Headquarters, Martlesham.

Appointments are made on the basis of a four-year term from 1 January 2020.

Members will receive an allowance of £250 per meeting and reasonable travel and other expenses in connection with their role.
