21 August 2013 PCC announces dates of public meetings Tim Passmore is staging a series of public meetings across the county in the autumn. There will be a meeting in each of the seven district or borough areas at: WAVENEY: Wherry Hotel, Bridge Road, Oulton Broad, Wednesday 25 September St EDMUNDSBURY: The Athenaeum, Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds, Wednesday 2 October MID SUFFOLK: The Cedars Hotel, Needham Road, Stowmarket, Monday 7 October SUFFOLK COASTAL: Marlborough Hotel, Sea Front, Felixstowe, Wednesday 9 October BABERGH: Sudbury Town Hall, Market Hill, Sudbury, Thursday 10 October FOREST HEATH: Memorial Hall, High Street, Newmarket, Monday 14 October IPSWICH: University Campus Suffolk, Ipswich Waterfront, Tuesday 22 October All meetings start at 6.30pm. Each meeting will involve a quick overview from the PCC and Douglas Paxton, the Chief Constable. The public will have an opportunity to ask questions and there will be a senior police officer, responsible for policing in the local area, to respond to local operational issues. The audience will also be able to have their say with the help of an interactive voting system. There is no need for the public to book, everyone is welcome.
