The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has awarded the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Suffolk a grant to provide or commission dedicated emotional and practical support services for victims of domestic abuse (DA) and sexual violence (SV). It is recommended that the PCC awards grants to fulfil the requirements of the domestic abuse and sexual violence funding. A schedule of recommended grants and funding amounts for 2022/23 – 2024/25 is set out.

It is recommended that the PCC accepts the offer of grant funding of £246,000 from the Home Office for delivery of the Suffolk Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme and agrees the award of £140,000 to Iceni for the delivery of the Venta programme and £106,000 to Suffolk Constabulary for continued delivery by the DA Perpetrator Unit between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023.
