This paper seeks approval from the Police and Crime Commissioner for the extension of the Victims of Crime contract with Victim Support at a cost of £168,876 to Suffolk for the period 1 April to 30 September 2025. The contract commenced in April 2020 for a period of three years with the option to extend for two years taken in 2023.

This paper describes the steps that have been taken by the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) in determining his proposed precept level and council tax requirement for 2024/25. It is recommended that the Police and Crime Panel are notified of the PCC’s proposal to increase the precept by £12.96 for a Band D property in 2024/25 and that this proposal is submitted to the Police and Crime Panel for consideration at its meeting on 26 January 2024.
