Procurement in a policing environment event – 4 December

Taking place in the Assembly Hall at Police Headquarters, Martlesham, Ipswich between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Friday 4 December 2015.

The event, hosted by the Police & Crime Commissioner, will aim to encourage local suppliers to register their interest in providing the diverse range of goods and services that we purchase on a daily basis from paper cups to patrol cars.

We plan to take visitors on a journey through a past major investigation and how it evolves from the start through to completion and a conviction. The presentation will show the many different contracts that we have in place delivering the varied goods and services that are needed, whether it’s forensic analysis, vehicles, uniform, specialist botanists, medical services, dog and search teams or even everyday essential items such as print and stationery.

We will provide attendees with an opportunity to register on our e-quotation and e-tendering website as well as being able to talk and register with other purchasing agencies such as Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation and Crown Commercial Services.

One of our larger suppliers Norland will be on hand to explain what they are looking for from small and medium sized enterprises as sub contractors.

To book your place at our event please e-mail your details and name of your organisation to us by Wednesday 2nd December  2015
