There are numerous organisations who offer specialist support to victims.

Please see below details of organisations delivering locally that the PCC currently funds.

Alumah:  Support for victims of domestic abuse and children in the West of Suffolk.

Anglia Care Trust:  Offers a range of support services to victims including the Money Advice Service for victims of domestic abuse.

Brave Futures (formerly known as Fresh Start New Beginnings):  Treatment service for child sexual abuse victims.

Bury St Edmunds Women’s Aid Centre:  Support services to women and their children who are victims of domestic abuse.

Compassion:  Supporting those who have experienced domestic abuse in south Suffolk.

Leeway:  A specialist domestic abuse charity supporting adults, children, and young people across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Lighthouse Women’s Aid:  Support services to victims of domestic abuse.

Norfolk and Suffolk Victim Care: Covering the whole of Norfolk and Suffolk for free, confidential support service specifically designed to help victims and witnesses of crime.

PHOEBE:  Provides advice and support to Black and Minority Ethnic Women who are victims of domestic abuse.

RestituteHelp for parents, families, carers and loved ones of victims of sexual violence, abuse, domestic abuse or other serious violence.

Road Victim Trust:  Support for people who have been affected by the grief and trauma of a road death or a serious injury or life changing injury collisions.

Suffolk Rape Crisis:  Support to female victims of rape and sexual abuse.

Survivors in Transition:  Services for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and male victims of sexual abuse.

The Ferns Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC)Free confidential healthcare and compassionate support in Suffolk to people of all ages who have experienced sexual assault, including rape.

The Ferns ISVA Service:  An Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Service providing free support to all those who have been affected by sexual abuse who live in Suffolk.

The Witness Service is provided by the Citizen’s Advice Bureau.

Waveney Domestic Violence and Abuse Forum:  Work with a range of partner agencies to support victims of domestic abuse in the Waveney area of Suffolk.
