This website has been designed so that you can visit it without the need to provide personal information about yourself. If we request any personal information from you we will explain why we are asking for that information. We will only use the information that you give for the purpose we describe. Confidentiality

We respect your right to contact us confidentially. We will not usually share your information with anyone outside of Suffolk’s OPCC unless we have asked for your permission.However if, in the public interest, it is necessary to disclose information provided, we may use your personal details without asking for your permission, strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Google Search

The search box on this web site (“Search Box”) is powered by Google Inc (“Google”). You acknowledge and agree that Google’s privacy policy shall apply to your use of the Search Box and by using the Search Box you consent to Google using your personal data in accordance with its privacy policy.

Analytics

When you visit www.suffolk-pcc.gov.uk, we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out such things as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way that does not identify anyone.

MailChimp

The OPCC uses the MailChimp web-based marketing platform (“MailChimp”) to produce and send its electronic news updates. When you sign-up through this website to receive these news updates, you will be asked to agree to the information you provide being transferred to and stored in the OPCC MailChimp account to facilitate this process.
