The Police and Crime Commissioner’s Publication Scheme (PDF, 4.21MB) under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 lists the kinds of information the Commissioner will make available to the public.

The Commissioner is obliged to provide information under the following classifications that are described more fully in the Publication Scheme:

  • What we spend and how we spend it
  • What our priorities are and how we are doing
  • How we make decisions
  • Our policies and procedures
  • Lists and Registers
  • The services we offer.

You can find the information we publish under these classifications through the Definition Document V25 November 2023 (PDF, 378KB).

In accordance with the Information Commissioner’s Office recommended good practice, the Police and Crime Commissioner maintains and publishes a Disclosure Log of responses to requests for information – FOI Disclosure Log.

In addition to publishing information under the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Publication Scheme (PDF, 4.21MB) and its accompanying Definition Document V24 May 2023 (PDF, 376KB), the PCC is also required to publish information under The Elected Local Policing Bodies(Specified Information) Order 2011 (as amended).

The Elected Local Policing Bodies (Specified Information) Order 2011 (PDF, 118KB), as amended by The Elected Local Policing Bodies (Specified Information) (Amendment) Order 2012 (PDF, 47KB), The Elected Local Policing Bodies (Specified Information) (Amendment) Order 2013 (PDF 576KB) and The Elected Local Policing Bodies Specified Information Amendment Order 2021 (PDF 1,095 KB) sets out the information that must be published by Police and Crime Commissioners, and the times of publication.
